Sunday Funday - Fall Tutorial

Autumn has just started to "fall" upon us in Canada and I love this time of year! I know I know.... I say that about every season but that's because I feel so blessed to be living in Canada where we are able to experience 4 completely different seasons!

And now with the Fall season in full swing the thermometer is starting to drop and the leaves are changing from green to red, bronze and copper! Pumpkin spice lattes are finally in season (my personal fav).... so what better time for a Fall Tutorial using those warm coppery shades and hints of purples and nudes. Those colours just seem to invoke the Autumn spirit!

I have decided to do a one brand tutorial today using some of my tried and true products from Lauren Brooke and one new one... Her Royal Purple liquid eyeliner. Purple is a great colour to pair with the copper eye shadows I'm using and is also a great colour to contrast my green eyes and make them pop!

This is my coppery bronze look for Fall!

• As always I start by cleansing and moisturizing my face and eye area to make sure my skin is perfectly prepped.

• I use my Lauren Brooke Soft-Focus Perfecting Primer next to prime my face and provide a beautiful canvas to work on. You can click here for my primer review!

• Then I use Lauren Brooke's Foundation in neutral 20 and concealer in light. I apply the foundation to my face and concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes or any areas that are a bit red. I apply both my foundation and my concealer with Lauren Brooke's Foundation Brush. You can click here for my Creme Foundation Review.

• I dust a bit of Lauren Brooke's Banana Corrective Finishing Powder over my face and eyelids to set the foundation and concealer. And I use her Large Kabouki Brush to apply that! Here is my review for her Banana Corrective Finishing powder!

• I then use her Round Crease Eye brush to apply Frosted Breeze (a shimmery pale nude brown) eye shadow all over my eyelids and apply Copper Glow (a shimmery copper shade) to the crease of my eyelids. These shades are one of Lauren Brooke's Powder Eye Duo Sets (The Copper Glow duo). I also apply a bit of the eyebrow "iridescent" highlighter to my brow bone, which comes in her deluxe and pro eyebrow kits!

• Next I apply Lauren Brooke's liquid eyeliner in Royal Purple to my upper lash line and her pencil eyeliner in blue to my lower lash line. I love this purple shade, its very subtle on the eye and not as harsh as black. I think it's the perfect colour for Fall, the Purple really makes my eyes pop! This is my completed eye look!

On the left is the liquid eyeliner in Royal Purple and on the right is the pencil eyeliner in Blue!

• After I am finished applying my eyeliner I apply 3 coats of my Lauren Brooke Lash-Strengthening Mascara in black. I love this mascara for everyday wear! You can read my review here!

• I then apply Lauren Brooke's powder cheek colour in Petals (a beautiful peach colour) to the apples of my cheeks.

• I use her golden bronzer as a contour and to add some extra warmth to my cheeks!

• I then add a bit of highlighter in "Glow" to my cheekbones to continue the bronze Fall theme!

• I extenuate my eyebrows with the blond powder brow shadow and design wax and apply it with a brow brush. Here is my review on that!

This is Lauren Brooke's Lip liner in Persimmon and Lipstick in Peche (a frosted peach nude)

• The finishing touch to this look is my lips! I line my lips with Lauren Brooke's Lip Liner Pencil in Persimmon and fill in my lips with her Lipstick in Peche!

And Voila this is the final look!
