I started this website because I woke up one morning in January of 2017, as 40 year old newish mom to my 1 and a half year old little girl and thought to myself "there was something more in this world for me".  Something more than waking up every day and going to my corporate job.  While I realized it may not be realistic to up and quit my day job and start “finding” myself full time, I decided today is the day I would start to focus on something I was passionate about.  I have always been a sucker for fitness, health and beauty, more so as I continue to age “gracefully” into my forties, however, with my little mini-me following my every move I started to realize my habits would become her habits.  While I was always very conscious about my diet and fitness I realized I needed to start making a change toward cleaner makeup and beauty products not only for myself but more importantly for my daughter.  I wanted to show her a healthy lifestyle from the inside out.  There is a wealth of information out there and I have started to find organic make up and skin care alternatives that have steered me away from the mainstream beauty products that contain harmful chemicals which can be detrimental to our long term health (believe it or not).

I hope you will come on this journey with me and together we can find better beauty products that perform just as well as the ones loaded with those not so nice ingredients.

I feel foolish that it took almost 40 years and having my daughter to have that “WTF” moment and realize what I am putting on my body is just as important as what I am putting in my body.  Everyday I am trying to make better decisions hoping that my daughter will learn some good habits along the way.  You don’t need to forgo the makeup or skin care products especially if they make you feel beautiful but you can make better and informed choices about the products you are using.
