Lauren Brooke is my current go to cosmetic line for safer products.
She offers very generous sample sizes which you can purchase for about 2 dollars Canadian. I recommend you start with some sample products so you can play around with colours and find your perfect match. The samples last quite a while especially the eye shadows so have fun with them. She also provides a free sample product with most orders. I just received a sample eye shadow duo (smokey plum and sweet pea) with my most recent order and I am in love with these colours for spring. See picture below.

I love the pink tissue paper included in the packaging.

This is my free sample shadows (Smoky Plum and Sweet Pea).
I have been dying to try Lauren Brooke's liquid eyeliner and mascara for a while now and I finally got my wish with my last order. Not only are they chopped full of healthy nourishing ingredients but they actually perform amazingly well!!
Liquid Eyeliner in Black:
Key Ingredients:
Burdock: Contains abundant hair-nourishing minerals to feed & nourish hair. Reverses thinning.
Aloe: Conditioning agent. Rich in Vitamins C, A, B12 & E. Contains protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc and essential fatty acids.
Comfrey: Promotes skin cell regeneration, promotes collagen and elastin production.
Fractionated Coconut Oil: Healing, moisturizing, antioxidant. Helps to fight free radicals, is anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.

I don't usually like liquid liners, I never really figured out how to use them, but I have been searching for a replacement for my "dirty" Maybelline gel eyeliner.... and then I found this. I was very skeptical about trying the product. I thought it would be runny and smudge very easily and I wasn't confident that I could actually apply it properly.
I was very pleasantly surprised! It applies like a very thin marker and has a nice felt tip applicator wand (I do however prefer to use my gel liner brush. I feel like I have better control with it). The colour is very pigmented and lasts all day without smudging. I also had zero irritation with this product. I use the liquid liner on my upper lids but still prefer a pencil to line my bottom lids.
Lash Strengthen Mascara in Black:
Key Ingredients:
Horsetail: Rich in bio-available silica. Stimulates hair growth.
Burdock: Contains abundant hair-nourishing minerals to feed & nourish hair. Reverses thinning.
Aloe: Conditioning agent. Rich in Vitamins C, A, B12 & E. Contains protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc and essential fatty acids.
Vitamin B Complex: Promotes blood circulation. Strengthens & stimulates hair growth.

This is my second favorite mascara. I like the subtle look it gave to my lashes and it was quite buildable. I could add extra coats of mascara without it becoming clumpy or flaky. The brush has a spiral look to it. Personally, I prefer a brush with a more spiny appearance and more bristles. I feel like it gives me a more dramatic look and applies more product to my lashes. But I think this may come down to personal preference.

Here I am with Lauren Brooke liquid eyeliner (black), mascara (black), and eye shadow (sweet pea on the lid and smokey plum in the crease)
I love all the extra benefits these wholesome ingredients provide. I actually feel good about what I am putting on my eyes now!

And this is the finished look, please excuse the extreme close up...YIKES!
I am using all Lauren Brooke products! Foundation (Neutral 20), concealer (Neutral Light), finishing powder, blush (Flushed), eye shadow duo (Smokey Plum and Sweet Pea), mascara and eyeliner (Black) and ColourFusion lip glaze (Dragonfruit).
This is my favorite make up line so far. If your interested you can purchase products from the entire line here and if you use my link you will get 10% off on your entire order!!
I have a feeling I will be doing a lot more product reviews from her line shortly.
