Hurrah.... it's finally SPRING and while it took a bit for the weather to cooperate temperatures are finally feeling more springy, lol...
Spring is a time for new beginnings where nature comes back to life again and we all get a little extra bounce in our step!!
I am feeling the need for a bit more colour in my life after such a long and snowy winter and so I am infusing this new Spring look with some beautiful pops of teal, bubblegum pinks, and soft golds!
I want to keep things fresh for this look so I am thinking a bright colourful eye with a subdued baby pink lip is in order for this Spring tutorial!
If you would like to see how I achieved the look below please keep reading.....

Aww yes the infamous car selfie, lol... Cars just seems to have the best lighting for taking pictures, don't ya think!
As always I cleanse and moisturize my face. I won't go into details about that today because if you follow me I am sure you have read enough about it... However, I am changing up a few things in my daily routine so look forward to that blog in a few a month or so!
After cleansing I prep my face for the make up application with a little bit of FitGlow Beauty's REDNESS RESCUE CREAM. This stuff is awesome at helping to tone down any extra redness in your face and its also a very lightweight product!

For this tutorial I am straying from my beloved Lauren Brooke Creme Foundation and have decided to try out Fitglow Beauty's VITA-ACTIVE FOUNDATION. At first this foundation was a bit tricky for me. I used my fingers to apply it and it turned out cakey and patchy. Since then I have been using a little bit of facial oil, to moisturize my face, and my ELF Perfect Blending Foundation Brush and it really made a HUGE difference. The foundation applied beautifully and gave me a nice light to medium coverage.

Next I used FitGlow Beauty's EYE BRIGHT under my eyes. This product is a "yellow" based concealing product and it really does work wonders for concealing under eye circles and a little really does go along way!
Lastly, I apply some VITA-SET POWDER from FitGlow to set my foundation, concealer and as a base for my eye shadow!
For my eye look today I am using FitGlow Beauty's Mineral Eye shadow trio in SURF. It has a soft gold which I apply all over my eye; a darker gold colour which I apply to the outer half of my eye; and a beautiful teal shadow which I apply to the outer corners of my eye and sometimes along my lash line. Unfortunately, right after I purchased this trio, Fitglow stopped selling it but you can still purchase it from Clementine Fields so if you want get this shadow trio you should get it while you can!

I think this little eye shadow trio is going to be my favourite for Spring and Summer, I just love this colour combination. The Teal gives a beautiful pop of colour to the eyes without going over the top!
These pictures do not do these shadows justice, they are just stunning in person!

Next I apply Lauren Brooke's Liquid Eyeliner in Black to my upper eyelids and her black pencil eyeliner to the waterline of my lower eyelids. Black works best because I don't want any other colour competing with these beautiful eye shadows!

After I am finished applying my eye shadow and eyeliner I apply 3 coats of my FitGlow Beauty Good Lash+ Mascara in black. This mascara is great when you want that extra va va voom, which btw I am always looking for! And its also water resistant and resists smudging or transferring to your upper eyelid, so its going to be great for those long summer days (which I hope are coming soon)!

I then apply FitGlow's mineral blush in QUARTZ (a beautiful bubblegum pink) which is a super classic shade for Spring for sure, I then apply a little bit of Rose (a beautiful iridescent peachy/pink colour) to my cheekbones for my highlight.

Quartz is on the left and Rose is on the Right.
I extenuate my eyebrows with the blond powder brow shadow and design wax from Lauren Brooke and apply it with a brow brush. Here is my review on that!

And I am loving a soft pale pink gloss for this look, and I am using FitGlow's Lip Serum in GO! This is one of my absolute favorite colours for spring! You can line your lips with a pale pink lip liner to help keep the lip serum stand out a bit more.

Its hard to get a true idea of what this Spring look looks like from a picture so here is a close up shot for ya! lol. The lighting might be a bit off because the beautiful sun was shinning in on me!

So far this has been my go to look for Spring!!
