Ahhhh Summer..... Summer is one of my favorite times of the year! The days are longer, the clothing gets lighter and so does your make-up routine!
For this tutorial I will be using some of my "new" products (from my Lauren Brooke Etra Vous Box) and also some tried and true staples already in my cosmetic bag!

Isn't this a nice fresh summer look!
First of course I start by cleansing and moisturizing my face and eye area. I skip the primer to avoid an extra step.
Then I use a hydrating foundation and concealer. Again my go to is Lauren Brooke Foundation in neutral 20 and concealer in light. I apply the foundation to my face and the concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes or any areas that are a bit red.
I dust a bit of Lauren Brooke translucent powder over my face and eyelids to set the foundation and concealer.
I then use a big eye shadow brush to apply Summer Wind (a shimmery pale yellow) eye shadow all over my eyelid and a smaller brush to apply Mystic Tawna (a peachy pink with a purple iridescent shimmer) to the crease of my eyelid and along my lash line. I also apply a bit of Beach (body glitter) to my brow bone and the inside corners of my eyes.

Summer Wind (a pale yellow shimmer shade) on the left and Mystic Tawna (a peachy pink with an iridescent purple hue) on the right.
Next I apply liquid eyeliner in black to my upper lash line and a pencil eyeliner in black to my lower lash line. These too are Lauren Brooke products. You can read my review here!
I apply 3 coats of my Physician's Formula Organic Wear 100% Origin Work It! Full! Flared! Fit! Mascara in black. You can read my review here!

I apply a peach blush (here I am using Lauren Brooke's blush in Petals) to the apples of my cheek and cheekbones and extend the blush up to my temples.
I skip the highlighter but if you want you can go a head and add a bit of Beach to your cheekbones to add a little bit of summer shimmer to your look!

Blush in Petals (a soft peach) on the left and Body Glitter, which I used as a eye shadow base, in Beach (a shimmery silver/pink/gold, its a bit hard to discribe) on the right. Again all Lauren Brooke products.
I extenuate my eyebrows with a soft brown powder brow shadow and apply it with a brow brush. I recently purchased a sample of Lauren Brooke brow powder and wax, so look for a review on that soon!

This is Lauren Brooke ColourFusion Lip Glaze in Peach Sunset.
The final piece to this look is adding Peach Sunset to my lips, I skipped the lip liner for this look!
And Voila this is the final look!

There you have it, my simple quick summer make up tutorial!
