Saturday Skin Care - Joe Fresh

Joe Fresh has come out with a great, affordable skincare line that is Canadian made and is formulated with anti-aging and botanical ingredients and formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances and colours!

The price ranges from about $12-$20 and their line includes a Citrus Facial Cleanser, Facial Toner, Gentle Clay Mask, Face Serum, Eye Cream, Oil-Free Moisturizing Day Cream, Moisturizing Day Cream, Night Cream and Universal CC Cream.

While they currently do not have a rating on the Think Dirty App they have done a good job eliminating harmful chemicals from their product line.

I haven’t used the whole line but I have tried a few product staples and added them to my skin care regime.

Citrus Facial Cleanser

This facial cleanser has a fresh and invigorating citrus smell. It foams up nicely and is very effective in getting all of my facial make up off, including mascara and eyeliner, at the end of the day!

This cleanser uses ingredients like grapefruit seed, green tea and aloe-leaf extracts.

Radiant Face Serum

I love love love this serum, my face just drinks this stuff up! And it leaves my skin feeling soft and glowing. It has some good anti-aging ingredients in it as well, rose hip seed oil (natural vitamin C, which helps brighten the skin), hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring substance in our body which helps to keep our cells hydrated and gives our skin a “plumped” up appearance), peptides and sea buckthorn oil. Like the cleanser it also has a light fresh citrus scent to it, but its not overwhelming at all.

Replenish Night Cream

This a very emollient night cream which leaves my skin feeling well moisturized in the morning but not greasy! It contains rose hip seed and olive fruit oils (which helps to replace lost moisture and nourish the skin), hyaluronic acid and peptides. Unlike the products above this one had ZERO scent which was a nice change too!

I am super excited about this affordable Canadian skincare line and I look forward to trying more of Joe Fresh products in the future!

NOTE: Just be careful and make sure the packaging says "free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance and synthetic dyes". I recently purchased a new Joe Fresh Cleanser and it was not free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes or fragrance!
