I am sure you have seen these "Invisibobble" things around… they look like an old fashion telephone cord and is used in place of a hair tie or scrunchie (ok I might be aging myself slightly here!).
Why in the world would you want to hold your hair back with a telephone cord???
I’ll tell you why… this unique shape actually allows a ponytail to be held strongly in place without feeling too tight or leaving a crease in your hair after you take it out (a personal pet peeve of mine). The telephone cord shape seems to place “uneven pressure” around the base of the ponytail which prevents the creasing effect and any unnecessary pressure elastics cause.

If you have issues with headaches after wearing a ponytail this might be the answer you are looking for. The spiral shape of this “revolutionary” hair ring allows the hair to have more space and is therefore less constricting!
But does it really hold up to this claim? Does it keep your hair in place when you are sleeping or working out? Well I have tested it out and the results are in!

Here I am modeling my Invisibobbles!
YES! It really does hold my hair in place just as well as a regular hair elastic does even during my high intensity HIIT workouts. I was a little surprised that it held so nicely and it really did feel secure! As for sleeping, it worked actually better than a traditional hair elastic which has the tendency to fall out during the night!
If you’re interested in purchasing these Invisibobbles for yourself you can buy a set of 3 at Sephora for $10.00 here. They come in many different colours to suit your personality or mood! It can even double as a bracelet, lol… my daughter loves to steal mine and wear them as bracelets. Sooo… looks like I will be purchasing more in the near future to ensure that we both have our own Invisibobbles!
Try is out for yourself!
