100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Pomegranate Oil Anti-Aging Lipstick

100% Pure was one of the first green beauty lines I ever tried. I was so impressed with their mission statement to “create the healthiest cosmetics made with the highest quality ingredients!”. And not only do they have a commitment to their products but their offices are environmentally friendly. They are powered by 100% solar energy, their company is 100% electric and their products are biodegradable and packaged with recycled materials. They are also completely cruelty free! Its so great to find a company that is so conscious about the welfare of the planet as well as their customers!

So ever since the purchase of my first 100% Pure palette I was more and more intrigued about other products in their line! One that really intrigued me was their Fruit Pigmented Pomegranate Oil Anti-Aging Lipsticks! The colours just looked so vibrant and luxurious!

I love this beautiful packaging!

These lipsticks are not only pretty but they are anti-aging, super moisturizing and concentrated with pomegranate oil and shea butter which keep the lips super soft and youthful. They get their 100% of their beautiful colour from antioxidant and vitamin-packed fruit pigments, not synthetic dyes. There are never any synthetic chemicals, synthetic dyes, chemical preservatives, or any other toxins in any of their products! The full ingredient list is below!

I was able to purchase 4 samples from Green Jungle Beauty (a wonderful green online retailer) for $4.00 a sample and you get a decent sample for your money. I would say each sample last about 2 weeks or more with daily use. I love the formulation and feel of these lipsticks so much I will definitely be purchasing a full size soon!

Here is a little teaser of the colours I tried!

From left to right: Peony, Calendula, Primrose and Narcissus

Peony – A true pale pink. I think it is a bit more of a neutral colour with a hint of pink. My husband commented on this colour. He loved it on me and thought it somehow brightened up my face and was great for every day wear! And I agree!

Calendula – A Coral Pink nude. I found that this was similar to Peony maybe a bit bolder and a bit more nude!

Primrose – A Bright Pink (This one is my favourite)! Its more of a very hot pink. My coworker commented on this lip colour the first day I wore it. She said she loved it on me! I love to wear this with a neutral eye so it makes the lip colour pop even more!

Narcissus - A Deep Pink but on me I felt it was more of a magenta, almost leaning to red. Definitely a great colour for all the upcoming holiday parties!

The packaging is just as pretty as these lipsticks, as you can see in the picture above. The lipsticks are each packaged in a bright shiny pink tube… it just makes you want to pull out your lipstick and apply it all day long! But seriously these are one of the best feeling lipsticks I have ever worn! My lips were not dry or peeling at the end of the day, which somehow happens to me with some of the other lipsticks I have tried.

So far I have only tried 4 colours but for reference here is the full colour list:

• Dahlia - deep burgundy red

• Poppy - classic, bold red

• Hibiscus - bright, red-orange

• Calypso - deep purple-y, berry red

• Narcissus - rich pink-red

• Primrose - bold, bright pink

• Magnolia - vibrant, mid-tone pink

• Melon - bright, baby pink

• Dandelion - bubble gum pink

• Foxglove - earthy rose

• Calendula - pinkish brown nude

• Peony - pink nude

These lipsticks feel amazing on the lip. They go on like silk and are very moisturizing and super creamy. They also have a subtle shine to them which I love but if you prefer a more matte look you can just simply blot your lips with tissue paper. It almost feels like I am not wearing lipstick at all because they don’t feel heavy or drying. These lipsticks are also very pigmented and each shade is very vibrant!

I would love to get my hands on a few more samples of these beautiful lipsticks before I make my final selection on which colours to purchase! However if they are anything like the 4 I have tried I might be in trouble because so far I love them all!
